Christopher Rossi

President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Rossi is President and CEO and a member of the Board of Directors of Kennametal Inc., serving in these positions since August 2017.

Prior to that, he was CEO of Dresser-Rand at Siemens Aktiengesellschaft, from September 2015 to May 2017. Dresser-Rand is part of the Seimens business, a leading global supplier of custom-engineered rotating equipment solutions for the oil, gas, petrochemical, power and process industries. Mr. Rossi held numerous leadership positions at Dresser-Rand including Executive Vice President of Global Operations, Vice President of Technology and Business Development, and Executive Vice President of Product Services Worldwide. He joined Dresser-Rand in 1987 and, throughout his career there, was responsible for the areas of Engineering, Production, Supply Chain Management, Sales and Business Development. He served as the company’s Vice President and General Manager of North American Operations, Vice President and General Manager of Painted Post Operation, and Vice President, Supply Chain Management Worldwide.

Mr. Rossi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA in Corporate Finance and Operations Management from the University of Rochester’s Simon School of Business.

Patrick Watson

Patrick Watson

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Kennametal Inc.

Patrick Watson is vice president and chief financial officer of Kennametal Inc. In this role, Pat leads the company’s finance, treasury, accounting, investor relations, information technology and global sourcing functions.

Patrick joined Kennametal in 2004. Prior to his current role, he served as vice president global supply chain and logistics. Watson’s tenure at Kennametal also includes serving as finance lead for both business segments and the EMEA region as well as M&A and supply chain roles. Prior to Kennametal, he held financial and supply chain roles at Allegheny Energy, Inc. and Eckerd Corporation.

Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of Pittsburgh and Master of Business Administration from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Franklin Cardenas

Franklin Cardenas

Vice President, Kennametal Inc. and President, Infrastructure Segment

Franklin Cardenas joined Kennametal in 2020 as Vice President of Kennametal Inc. and President of the Company’s Infrastructure segment. Franklin has global responsibility for the Infrastructure segment. In this role he is accountable for advancing the business strategy, driving operational excellence and delivering profitable growth in the advanced materials, earth cutting tools, engineered components, additive manufacturing and ceramics businesses within the segment.

Franklin spent nearly 25 years with Donaldson Company, Inc., starting with the company in Mexico in 1995. He has deep global experience having held various business and general management roles, with responsibility for commercial and operations, during his time with the company. Franklin held management positions covering Mexican and Latin American markets prior to being named Managing Director, Latin America in 2005 and Vice President, Global Engine Aftermarket, in 2010. In his most recent role, he was the Vice President of Asia Pacific, and was responsible for accelerating profitable growth, driving market share and improving productivity.

Franklin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Tec de Monterrey in Mexico City.

Sanjay Chowbey

Sanjay Chowbey

Vice President, Kennametal Inc. and President, Metal Cutting Segment

Sanjay Chowbey joined Kennametal in 2021 as Vice President of Kennametal Inc. and President of the Company’s Metal Cutting segment.

Sanjay has global responsibility for the Metal Cutting segment. In this role he is accountable for all aspects of the business, including advancing the strategy, driving operational excellence and delivering profitable growth for the segment.

He has more than 20 years of experience at various industrial companies, including Flowserve Corporation, Danaher and Arvin Meritor Inc. Sanjay brings deep global and cross-functional perspective having held various President and General Manager roles, with responsibility for strategy, operations, sales, marketing and finance. In his most recent role, he was President of the $1.2 billion Services & Solutions business at Flowserve.

Sanjay earned his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University; Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Tennessee Tech University; and Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from B.I.T. in Sindri, India.

Dr. Carlonda Reilly

Dr. Carlonda Reilly

Vice President and Chief Technology Officer

Carlonda R. Reilly, Ph.D., is vice president and chief technology officer of Kennametal Inc. In this role, she is responsible for leading Kennametal’s global research, development and engineering organization.

Carlonda joined Kennametal in September of 2018. Prior to her current role, she served as global technology director in DuPont’s Transportation and Advanced Polymers business.

Throughout her more than 22-year career at DuPont, Carlonda has held various R&D, operations, marketing and business leadership roles, including serving as global technology director for DuPont’s Building Innovations.

Dr. Reilly holds a bachelor's degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Delaware all in chemical engineering. She is a member of the Board of Directors for W. L. Gore and Associates, St. Vincent College, the University of Delaware Research Foundation and The Advanced Leadership Institute and is the Board Chairman for Kennametal Shared Services Private Limited. She also serves on the Advisory Board for the Carnegie Science Center.

Michael Pici

Vice President, Investor Relations

Michael Pici is Vice President, Investor Relations and is responsible for the company's global investor relations strategy.

Pici has more than 30 years of experience across investor relations, financial analysis, reporting and corporate development. He has held financial leadership positions at numerous publicly traded companies and has over 10 years of investor relations experience. Most recently, Pici served as Vice President, Investor Relations for Perspecta.

He holds a bachelor's degree in marketing management and an MBA in financial management from Pace University, as well as a Six Sigma Certification from the University of Michigan.
